Thank-you for saying #NOmethanol360 with us, standing-up for healthy air and water, working toward 100% renewable clean energy and a sustainable future with NO new fossil fuel infrastructure, NO fracking.

The world's largest fracked fossil-gas-to-methanol refinery and export terminal is dead. NWIW pulled out, terminated their lease with POK, and abandoned the project on June 11th. It's over, IT'S ALL OVER!!!

Environmental justice prevailed, the Columbia River is safeguarded, healthy habitats protected, and the prospect for truly green jobs in Kalama preserved, thanks to YOUR fortitude, passion, and perseverance.

We are so proud of our No Methanol team. Forever grateful to Columbia Riverkeeper and allied organizations, legal teams, indigenous communities, climate and health advocates, supporters from across the PNW, journalists, researchers, rally speakers, more!

Organized activism works! TOGETHER, WE DID IT!!!

A huge thank-you to Kalama and surrounding communities
from the amazing team at Columbia Riverkeeper.

Stop this Kalama calamity.

Kalama sits on Cowlitz Indian Tribe ancestral lands from time immemorial. We acknowledge their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waters and honour their stories. We stand in solidarity with BIPOC against systemic racism and bias and in protection of marginalized and fence-line communities.

Please send personal cards or letters to Gov. Inslee and Dept. of Ecology to thank them for their support and strength. We so appreciate their committment to clean air and water, renewable energy, and a sustainable future in our great state of Washington. Snail mail addresses for Gov. Inslee, Ecology Dir. Watson, and Regional Dir. Doenges are provided HERE. Thank-you!
